Puget Sound Maritime Historical Society presents "Flotsametrics and the Floating World"

Guest speaker Curt Ebbesmeyer is a retired oceanographer from the University of Washington.  He will speak on the timely subject of ocean garbage, the impact of ocean currents upon the spread of garbage in our oceans and eight existing garbage patches. A question and answer session will follow.

Where:  Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI), 2700 24th Avenue East, Seattle Time:  Program begins at 3 p.m. and is free to the public (excludes MOHAI admission) lunch will be served at 2:30 pm and the cost is $20.00 for the lunch.
