The Lake Union Oral History Project has been created and posted on the Jack Straw Productions web site, at www.jackstraw.org/programs/special/lakeunion
The web page features a 12 minute presentation with photos and excerpts from each project interview. Thanks to the University of Washington Libraries Special Collections, the Museum of History and Industry, the Seattle Municipal Archives and others for the use of their historic photo collections. The web page also includes extended excerpts from each project interview, and a brief biography of each interview narrator.
Thanks to the great group of interview narrators who helped to document and preserve stories of Lake Union history through their participation in the project, to Jennie Cecil Moore and her colleagues at Jack Straw Productions for their work as project partners, to Ron Rundus for creating the presentation and project web page, to The Center for Wooden Boats for hosting a community event for the project in July, and to 4Culture and the Ferguson Foundation for their support for the project.
